World Cup Qualifications for czech riders ahead. CSI2*-W Olomouc coming soon

After Dressage World Cup, Equine Sport Center Olomouc is preparing for a showjumping event of the FEI series. International showjumping event Banka CREDITAS CSI2*-W will take place for the 13th time, and it will be the second event of FEI Jumping World Cup™ Central European League’s Northern Sub-league, which counts nine qualifications and a finale in total.

The first points will be awarded at the end of May in Pärnu, a city located in the Pärnu Bay in southwestern Estonia. After Olomouc, the third round was supposed to take place in Riga, Latvia, but it was canceled. Therefore, the next opportunity to improve standings in the rankings will also be in Latvia, but this time in the town of Incukalns. For the Czechs, a favorite destination is Slovakia's Šamorín near Bratislava, where points for the aforementioned series will be awarded during the CSI3*-W meeting held from August 5th to 9th. At the end of the eighth month, a brand new stop was added in Hořovice in Central Bohemia, and further meetings will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, again in Šamorín, and subsequently in Warsaw and Poznań. The final for both sub-leagues of the Central European League is scheduled for the second half of February in Kraków.

A part of the World Cup is always the main competition of the entire meeting - the Grand Prix, which will be held in Olomouc on Sunday, June 21st. It will be preceded by a packed four-day program, which is divided into several tours. "The main competitions in the CSI2* category are traditionally divided into the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Tour. In the highest one, riders and horses will complete competitions from 140 to 155 centimeters. They will start on Friday afternoon, on Saturday in Prize of Olomouc City, and then on Sunday in the Olomouc Grand Prix. The two competitions count for points in the FEI Longines Ranking. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the Silver Tour competitions will be held at a height of 130 to 135 centimeters, and the Bronze Tour has scheduled courses at the level of 120 to 125 centimeters," specified the event director, Kristýna Bundilová.

From Thursday to Saturday, there are also competitions for young horses (CSIYH1*), junior competitions CSIJ-A, and the CSIU25 for riders under 25 years old. This tour is, for a change, a part of the European Youngster Cup and will culminate on Sunday afternoon with the Grand Prix at a height of 145 centimeters. "After Sunday's Grand Prix, spectators will be able to stay for two more competitions. After the so-called under-25s, the lowest competitive category, the Elite Tour, will also have its finale. Owing also to the wide spectrum of competitions, every year we have a surplus of riders interested in participating in the CSI in Olomouc, and it is no different this year, as we have already recorded around 350 entered horses. However, we will know more precise numbers only after the deadline for final entries, which is June 3rd," added Kristýna Bundilová.

World Cup Banka CREDITAS CSI2*-W Olomouc 2026 will take place in Equine Sport Center from 18 to 21 June. Entry is free for all days. You can find all the important information at www.csiolomouc.cz.
